#500 Construction Safety Trainer Course Webinar

Course Description: This course provides instruction for individuals to become Global OSHA Authorized Trainers for construction safety. Curriculum includes presentation skills, Global Outreach Training Program administration, materials development, course facilitation, effective instructional approaches, and conducting hands-on exercises. Special emphasis is placed on the mandatory safety and health topics required in the #100 and #200 courses; Fall Protection, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Ladders and Stairways, Electrical Hazards, Tool Safety, Caught In or Between Hazards, Struck-By Hazards, and Health Hazards. Additional topics include safety and health management systems and local requirements for safety and health compliance. Upon successful completion, the participant will be awarded status as a Global OSHA Authorized Trainer, receive a Global OSHA trainer card, and be issued a Global OSHA digital badge. This status enables the trainers to conduct introductory and intermediate level construction worker safety classes through the Global OSHA Outreach Training Program, and request course completion cards for students. The authorization is valid for four years, at which point trainers are required to complete an update course to maintain their authorized status. Contact hours: 24 CEUs: 2.4

#501 General Safety Trainer Course Webinar

Course Description: This course provides instruction for individuals to become Global OSHA Authorized Trainers for general safety. Curriculum includes presentation skills, Global Outreach Training Program administration, materials development, course facilitation, effective instructional approaches, and conducting hands-on exercises. Special emphasis is placed on the mandatory safety and health topics required in the #101 and #201 courses: Slips, Trips, and Falls; Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); Hazardous Materials; Exit Routes; Electrical Hazards; Machine Guarding; Ergonomic Hazards; and Industrial Hygiene. Additional topics include safety and health management systems and local requirements for safety and health compliance. Upon successful completion, the participant will be awarded status as a Global OSHA Authorized Trainer, receive a Global OSHA trainer card, and be issued a Global OSHA digital badge. This status enables the trainers to conduct introductory and intermediate level general worker safety classes through the Global OSHA Outreach Training Program, and request course completion cards for students.
